The Crew Year Book
When my grandfather, John F Arrasmith Jr, passed away, his Crew Year Book was lost in the shuffle. It was at that moment that I realized the importance of preserving the history of VPB-119 and its crews. I vowed that no other descendant of VPB-119 would experience this loss again.
Thankfully, other VPB descendants had the foresight to digitally preserve this valuable artifact. Through their care and efforts, we are now able to present to you a digital version of the original VPB-119 Crew 8 book.
But we're not stopping there. We're actively working to identify a professional with experience in digitally remastering and colorizing historical documents like this. If you have any recommendations or referrals, please don't hesitate to contact us. Our goal is to digitally remaster this Crew Book and reproduce copies for descendants. Additionally, we plan to donate copies to museums and libraries throughout the United States.
We believe that preserving the legacy of VPB-119 is vital, not just for the families of those who served but for all Americans. Through our efforts, we hope to ensure that the bravery and sacrifice of these men and women are never forgotten.
